Dr. Tim Bristol is a certified nurse educator and informatics expert specializing in curricular innovation and global nursing education. Internationally known as an educational consultant, Dr. Bristol has worked in Haiti and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as many regions of the United States. As a result of his academic practice in Haiti and America, Dr. Bristol was inducted into the Academy of Nursing Education. He has taught at all levels of nursing in both public and private institutions, and has consulted with the healthcare industry through public health, acute care, long-term care, and professional trade organizations. Specializing in instructional design with an emphasis on curricular innovation, Dr. Bristol has authored articles and publications on the topics of healthcare education, social media, and informatics. He also is the founder and principal of NurseTim, Inc., a consulting firm comprised of more than 60 speakers and consultants. A faculty member at Walden University, Dr. Bristol also serves on the faculty and board of directors for the Faculty of Science in Nursing, Leogane, Haiti.
