Digital Innovator Isobar to Partner with Global Non-Profit Health eVillages

Isobar joins Tivity Health, Sharecare and The Tramuto Foundation to support the global health and rural aging work of Health eVillages

BOSTON, Mass. – August 22, 2018 – A new partnership was recently created between Health eVillages, a global non-profit that provides medical resources such as mobile technology, training and apps to low-resource settings and Isobar, an award-winning global digital agency that transforms businesses, brands and people’s lives with the creative use of digital.

Named by Fast Company as one of the Top 10 Innovative Companies in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, Isobar will provide Health eVillages with pro bono digital strategy and design support for its Rural Aging Hub.

In 2017, Tivity Health convened the inaugural Connectivity Summit on Rural Aging in partnership with the MIT AgeLab, the Jefferson College of Population Health, and Health eVillages.  One of the key outcomes from the summit was the need to create the rural aging “hub” – a web portal designed to share information, promote communication, and inspire collaboration among public and private organization across the regions. At the 2018 Summit in August, Tivity Health, Health eVillages and Isobar launched the new hub: ruralage.com.

Ruralage.com is the first release of what will be an interactive and collaborative multi-disciplinary destination of resources and solutions to address social isolation, infrastructure, healthcare, nutrition, and community issues that impact aging Americans in rural communities.

Health eVillages has deployed more than 500 content-enabled mobile devices and currently works in eight countries including the United States, Haiti, Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
