Health eVillages Welcomes Devin Paullin to its Advisory Board

Executive Vice President for Physicians Interactive Joins Luminaries from Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industries

Marlborough, MA (September 4, 2012) – Today, Health eVillages announced the addition of Devin Paullin, executive vice president of Physicians Interactive (PI) to its Advisory Board. A distinguished industry leader in the life sciences sector, Paullin was recognized as one of the “Top 100 Most Inspirational Healthcare Leaders in the Life Sciences Industry” by PharmaVOICE in 2010. Paullin is a nationally recognized expert in healthcare marketing and strategic product development, helping life sciences companies better understand and adapt to medical professional needs in the wake of national healthcare reform, and advancing mobile technologies and the growth of electronic healthcare technology, including ePrescribing.

Paullin has been a driving force in PI’s transformation into a leading healthcare professional resource for medical information, medication sampling, patient benefits and mobile decision support. His work includes several innovative first-to-market products with well-known healthcare companies such as Allscripts, as well as many of today’s top life sciences companies. These solutions help life sciences companies and clinicians better connect and raise the quality of care for patients in today’s physician workflow.

“Health eVillages is an inspirational example of what we can do on our best day, providing the tools and the information so critical to patient care, yet so largely unavailable for those in need around the globe.” said Paullin. “I am humbled and honored to be joining the Advisory Board alongside so many other accomplished executives in the healthcare industry, and am fully committed to contributing to Health eVillages’s development.”

Health eVillages was founded in partnership with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights and PI in 2011 to empower clinicians to deliver safe and efficient medical care in the most challenging clinical environments, anywhere in the world, by providing the latest in mobile healthcare technology. The program provides handheld devices, such as iPod Touches or iPads, to healthcare professionals in developing countries, which include specialized medical reference content and clinical decision support tools powered by Skyscape. Health eVillages also provides training and support for the clinicians in these areas so they can provide higher quality care to their patients.

“Devin has been working closely behind the scenes with Health eVillages from its inception in 2011 and has been an integral part of its success to date,” said Donato Tramuto, CEO and vice chairman of Physicians Interactive and founder of Health eVillages. “He has a proven track record of successful growth in a competitive marketplace, which makes him an incredible asset to our Advisory Board as we expand into new regions.”
