Mobile Apps help doctors in rural Maine treat patients

Washington County tops the list of Maine’s poorest counties and with high poverty rates come higher rates of chronic illness.

The Harrington Family Health Center sees it’s fair share of patients dealing with a variety of chronic conditions. and now it has a new piece of technology it says is improving the delivery of medical care. That technology is a tablet loaded with a variety of medical apps provided to the Harrington Health Center by the non-profit Health eVillages.
