Health eVillages is honored and grateful to be among eight impactful non-profit organizations selected by the Tramuto Foundation for financial support and to be featured at the 9/11/2021 gala celebrating the Foundation’s 20th anniversary.
Last month, representatives of these organizations gathered at The Cliff House in Maine to meet with Foundation co-founder Jeff Porter and to begin to plan for the 20th anniversary gala. The honorees, including Health eVillages, are:
- Boston University School of Public Health
- Good Shepherd Food Bank
- Lwala Community Alliance
- Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps
- Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights
- Saint Joseph’s College of Maine
- Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson College of Population Health
This distinguished group of honorees has formed a committee to assist the Foundation in planning and fundraising for the 2021 gala. This was our first meeting at the breathtaking Cliff House venue where the gala will be held. I have never seen a more beautiful hotel! Both the natural beauty of the Maine coastline and the top-notch recent renovations make this place very special and will help make all gala guests and supporters feel special, as well.
Our committee is planning a special commemoration of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and an extraordinary celebration of all the impactful accomplishments that the Tramuto Foundation, its partners and its scholarship recipients have made during its 20-year history. Sponsorship packages and other ways to get involved and support the Foundation will be announced in the coming months. Health eVillages looks forward to working with the Tramuto Foundation and the co-honorees on this important commemoration and celebration. Save the date: September 11, 2021.
